The wife had a panic attack while walking some trails at Yosemite NP due to cliffs/waterfalls, etc. I can relate to each of these people as they may have started walking the glass bridge fine, but then fear overcame them, much like claustrophobia can hit almost at any time.

I had no idea my niece was afraid of heights. Took her to Six Flags. Talked her into going on the Texas Chute Out (parachute ride) where your feet are hanging out.



Later I wanted to rest so I talked her into going up to the top of the tower. She wouldn't walk away from the elevator. I then felt really bad about making her ride the Chute ride.
