As a side note to this thread, I also can't stand when people either post up on a sign or send an email adding a misused apostrophe to make something plural.
ex: "Please make sure you park your car's in the correct lot".

Spell check does randomly weird shite with apostrophes. I often wonder what language my tablet is spell checking. But people should definitely proofread business correspondence more than they do. On a message board, who cares? Give the grammar Nazis their moment in the sun.
