That’s some arse backwards shite
shirts and pants can vary MASSIVELY size wise from different brands and stores Shoes are for the most part pretty uniform in their sizes

I don't know anyone that actually shopped there. Places like Shoe Dept sell brand name shoes that aren't really more expensive.

There was one in Chalmette. It's small. But Walmart carries shoes. A Shoe Dept was built, then it doubled in size. Stores such as JC Penney and Kohls have expanded shoe selection. Not that far away.
Meanwhile, Payless had a small selection and not a lot of stock.

But there's more margin for error with shirts and pants.
