Guys, where do y'all think I live?

Just picked up a muzzle the other day though. Now she just attacks with her mouth closed.

I don't think y'all understand. This dog can't be in public. No exaggeration, it loses it's mind when it seeing another dog, and attacks it. Like, as to kill it. It's unbelievable

This is my dog. He can be very animal aggressive. Pinch collar has him highly trained. You just have to know what makes them go red, what their stances mean, etc. Once you do, you can correct the behavior. I promise you. It might not be easy, but it can be done.

We're definitely serious about training this dog. And I know y'all have experienced things like this before and know what you're talking about.

But it isn't a bunch of behavioral things that I can break down and fix through various techniques. She's a very good dog in every single scenario you could dream of.

But tries to kill every single dog she sees. I just don't think I know how to fix it. It's so bad I don't think I could of I knew how.

Do all Mexicans have pit-bulls to overcompensate for their height? Or is it because of your tiny penises...?

The first lab I had, a few years back, we tried it with him. The first time was at petsmart, and the 2nd was with an actual trainer around town.

The first time wasn't worth 2 cents. Their program cost like 160-180 if I remember correctly. After a few weeks in the process no progress was made so we cut it and they gave us most of our money back though not all. Understandable I guess.

2nd time was a little better. He learned to be more obedient and a couple tricks but the catch was he'd only do it when he wanted to lol.

So we made time to do it ourself. It took a while but I was impressed at the outcome. We got a more obedient dog and he learned to sit, stay all that crap. He no longer chewed things as well. Just a better behaving dog. If I were you, I'd make time for it and do it yourself. Save the money. About an hour a day is great.

We've done this, and like with yours, it was tough but eventually made progress and now have a pretty awesome dog.

Except for when another dog is around. Because she apparently likes to turn into a demon and eat them. Jokes aside, it's unreal how fast she goes 0 to 60 when she sees another dog. It's overwhelming.

Like what was said previously, you can pay for all the training you want, but if you don't follow through at home it will be pointless.

Training classes are more for humans than they are for dogs, they teach you how to train your dog and then you continue that training at home to reinforce it. If you can do that, it will work for you. If you plan on just letting the class be the only source of training for the dog, you will be throwing your money away.

Perfect. I want to do this without paying, but realize what we're up against. She wants to pay for it but I KNOW that there's a good chance that it'll be too hard for us to be disciplined at first in helping the dog.

Here is some advice from someone with experience with this. Dogs instinctively have a pack mentality regardless of size or breed and consider your family as it's pack. If none of you exhibit alpha traits that your dog recognizes and accepts then it will believe it must fill that roll. So whenever your dog goes crazy at other dogs it is because it is compelled to protect it's pack and it's territory as the alpha. What you need to do is receive training for your family and dog that teaches you about the pack mentality and how to exhibit the alpha traits which will in return have your dog act of of your cues. If the dog accepts you as alpha and see's you do not perceive this other dog or person as a threat then neither will they.

I did this training with my girl through a national franchise called Barkbusters. I can't speak for other trainers but the lady I worked with here was outstanding and changed my 115 lb Cane Corso in to a new dog after just the 1st session largely because the key focus is teaching the owners how to behave differently to receive the results you are looking for. Dogs instinctively want to lead or be lead and once you are fully established and maintained as the alpha their existence is to please you. My girl never begs, has 100% recall and I can even walk her off leash and she doesn't go anywhere without my okaying it. Barkbusters is done in your home initially or somewhere in public later if you choose for social experiments. They had like 3 packages for $300, $500 & $700 depending on your needs. I highly recomend, the knowledge you get just on ways to best communicate with dogs will last you a lifetime and make you and your dogs relationship so much better.

Try to look at it as more a lack of education on the subject than a lack of manhood
