If he is gaining weight and not malnourished, it generally isn’t an issue. He will grow out of it eventually.

It’s annoying as hell though. What helped, but didn’t eliminate us adding 1-2 tsp of the baby rice cereal to the formula. It thickens it up and makes it a little harder to spit up.

Zantac did nothing at all.

Go to Nexium. Get kid scoped to see if you even need reflux medicine. Could be several teeth coming in too.

Really? Good God man. What has happened to society today.

Because there are legit reasons to stop.

However if the OP is asking for advice on dealing with a poor decision that was made by the mom and not a doctor I have no sympathy.

Despite what modern moms want to tell themselves, babies are better off without formula, some just react to it more than others

Guessing you haven’t had a kid in awhile. Modern moms are all about that breast milk lyfe

To OP: enfamil gentleease and mylicon drops solved our problems on spitting up

You breast milk shamers are just the worst. Kids on breast milk still spit up. Mine did, breast fed milk through a bottle. Talked to a friend today who's child spits up, breast fed milk from the boob. This isn't an issue of breast milk vs formula.

The breast is best movement is insane. Few people have read the studies on breast milk. Even doctors. The vast majority of those studies are woefully inept.

Adding, if I had it to do over again, I would skip the formula and go with the old time home made formula using pet milk, sterile water and Karo syrup. My first two were raised on this and never had problems. My third was on formula and was sick all the time. Oh, I didn’t breastfeed because someone told me that if I was nervous I could poison my baby. We didn’t have lactation counselors at the time.

The OP literally says the issue started when they went to formula.
