Continue to fight, fight has hard as you can. I lost my mom to this terrible cancer, and I know people tend to think its sentence all the time. I really hope you beat it, I love seeing cancer get its teeth kicked in.
I miss my mom everyday, and although she lost her fight, I don't let it discourage me. She would want anyone to know that the battles may swing one way or another, but the war against cancer is far from over.

As a cancer survivor myself I applaud your good fortune. Everyday is a gift, now go out there and live life to the fullest.

My father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer when it had already progressed to stage 4. When he was going through his fight, he told me something that will always stick with me. He said that all of our days are numbered and that not everybody gets the same. He said that it's not the years in a person's life that matter, it's the life in their years. I'm pretty sure he lifted that from a movie but there is wisdom in it nonetheless.
It's good that you're going to see the Northern Lights. That's something that the vast majority of people will never experience. Keep on living like there is no tomorrow because eventually it will be true for all of us.
Keep fighting and stay strong. People have beaten pancreatic cancer before and there's not a damn reason why you can't do it too.

Prayers continuing for you. I had a cancer scare 8 years ago and my spouse is now facing it, details are yet to be determined. What I have taken away from the ordeal is "Get busy living". Every damn day! It puts the small stuff in perspective. Good luck and enjoy your trip.
