Paging Napoleon, water out of dispenser taste like machine oil.

We have a GE Monogram and over the last week we have noticed an oil tasted(3 N 1 oil comes to mind) from the water dispenser. I changed the screw on filter today and purged the line. Ran two gallons through the new filter and the water was fine. Came home tonight and it is back to the oil taste again. Water out of any faucet in the house taste okay. Was wondering if one of the valves in the system could cause this problem. Looked online for dispensers with similar problem but nothing came up. Any idea or should I just light it on fire. Thanks in advance.

I gotta know. How are you familiar with the taste of 3 in 1 oil?

Smell and taste are closely related. if you were to smell 3n1 oil, that is what i'am getting in my mouth.

Perhaps the Installation Technician mistakenly installed in your residence the system intended for the Mr. and Mrs. Tin Man household.
