My speed queen washer is throwing an error and not draining.

ER then OF. No idea? I took apart the pump and there was a sock stuck in there got that out, put it all back together and still won't drain.

The paging of Napolean about appliance questions is getting a bit out of hand. Maybe ol' Nap just wants to unwind from a day of fixing stuff by getting on the OT to peruse some NSFW threads or get teary eyed reading about someone's labrador that they just put down. Instead he's bombarded with more work shite.

He should set up in one spot every month for OTers. He could make a killing

I'm not sure it would be worth his time but seems like he could kick a little advertising money to Chicken and set up some sort of site to handle questions for profit. Like $10 for a simple answer and $25 for complicated. Or just on a tip basis and let the person decide what amount.

Thats probably all too much hassle for someone who already runs a business though.

To OP, I'm assuming the sock just recently got stuck in there. It probably burned up the pump motor or caused it or the impeller to fail somehow. Can you completely disconnect it and inspect it or even get some power to it to test it?
