Btw, my wife took a pic of me in Warrior 3 that is unreal. Both legs are completely straight. Held it for the entire 30 seconds.

Eta: I'm not calling y'all out about this. I think it's great that y'all are helping each other be the physically best you can be.

Nice!
Btw, when will I ever learn. Never ever ever ever ever eat dinner before your workout.

I avoid them. I change my workout every three months.

But you do realize that your body will only go so far & there will be a natural plateau right?

Did they teach you that in med school?

You'll get it, Bullfrog. For some reason I'm just a freak when it comes to yoga.

Stop being a dick.
I was asking you.

Sorry, I thought that was the schtick with you.
But the "natural plateau" theory is nothing more than an excuse for people who can't get results and want to quit. In reality, the human body does not have stationary entity. It is constantly changing and adapting to stress, age, environment, food, etc. There's alway room to improve in something.
Now, are your results on your 6th round of P90X going to be as pronounced as they were in your first round? Of course not, but there's always something you can get better at.
Like after I finished my third round of P90X then did Insanity I was in ridiculously good shape, but my balance sucked. Anytime I was on one foot I was like a newborn giraffe. Then I did X2 which incorporates a ton of balance. By the end I was doing 4 medicine ball pushups like the ripped king, Sabi. Now I find myself just standing on one leg around the hospital for the hell of it. In X3 yoga I can finally grab my toe and straighten my leg. That was unheard of a few years ago.
My point is, you don't have to just say you've piqued and now you're just going to maintain. You can always improve somewhere.

Eliptical is a waste of time. The beachbody programs are good, but nothing beats a really good heavy lifting program combined with HIIT and a solid diet.p90 series combines alot of those elements.
Im doing it because I have been slacking and being in this group helps. I dont train anybody anymore and train in my garage so this helps me stay on my diet.
If you still want to goto to the gym look up the greyskull lp or wendlers 5/3/1. Gslp with his conditioning work added is my favorite work out but wendlers north of vag template is a close second.
Btw if you aren't lifting heavy or advancing on bw lifts then you are just wasting time

I'm a girl & I don't want big muscles.
I want to maintain my tone with some muscles difinition.
I'm sure I could improve in something, but for the most part I'm happy with my results. And I'm too old for all that stuff anyway.

Body beast is good for what it is but the two I mentioned are better. The key to the beach body programs are the nutrition and support. For somebody like me who pretty much knows plenty about diet and training, its the support that helps me.
The other thing bb programs have done is teach people it takes hard work and consistency to change your body and that it's ok for women to lift heavy.

That's another total fitness myth.
Lifting heavy weights won't give women big muscles. It can't. They don't have enough testosterone.
It just makes you lean and toned.
Lift weights. It's good for you.

I'm AFAA certified too. I know all this stuff. The reason I like beach body programs and I promote them is for the same reasons you said, plus they do a great job of designing and organizing the workouts and schedules into and effective and relatively easy to follow program. You don't have to be a fitness expert to understand them.

I'm up to 30 for my arms & 50 for my legs.
