Do we not have the guy who invented crawfish prices around here? Sheesh.

Fwiw I knew a guy deep in the crawfish biz in Houston and he said the Vietnamese had basically cornered the market

I am going into the Ouachita river valley and catch nice crawfish. I go right past a sign that warns of high mercury levels in fish.

They haven't cornered the market but they are big players - most are middle men that sale to restaurants
