I went to a wedding outside in DC earlier in July and it was horrible.

But there is a much higher chance of me going to that than if some broad schedules one on a Saturday in the fall.

My wife and I got married outdoors, but it was in April before the humidity of Alabama became a problem.

My best friend and roommate in college had an outdoor wedding in late June a couple of years ago. He asked me to be one of the groomsmen and I accepted. Tan tuxes so I was hoping it wouldn't be too bad. Day of the wedding it is 93 degrees and about 2 hours before go time it monsoons and stops about 20 minutes before the wedding was scheduled to start. Sun comes out it is humid as hell, by the time pictures rolls around I look like I just got done with two a days.

I did break the no weddings during football season, it was on off weekend for UGA but I made sure the venue had tv's around for the guest who were fans of other teams.

I got married outdoors in San Antonio on a day in late June. It was hot as frick. Kind of a spur of the moment wedding though. Only immediate families attended so we didn't make any of our friends suffer, at least

Showering with the bride after made it all ok

My wife really wanted an outdoor wedding and reception. I had to sit her down and ask her if she wanted to enjoy our day. I had to ask her if she want guest to enjoy the day. I then had to tell her outdoors in August will 90 plus degrees in the evening with 90% humidity. I told her people would be miserable. I managed to change her mind and we hand an in door wedding.

You must not be a true Lewzianern.
If you were, you'd welcome being in the humid heat and would hate air conditioning.
