I can fall asleep in less than 30 seconds, my problem is that after about 4 hours I wake up, and then struggle to fall back to sleep. If, and that's a big if, I do go back to sleep, I almost always wake up an hour later and continue to repeat this cycle. I go to be around the same time every night, drink very little alcohol and only 1 cup of caffeine around 7AM, and have very little stress in my life. Even exercise doesn't change my sleep issue. Should I try magnesium or melatonin to start with?

That Amazon or Equate sleep aid is the exact same ingredient as Unison Sleeptabs.. i have found though that the ‘off brands’ like that (as well as the one Costco sells)- dont work quite as well as the name brand Unisom .. i realize they have the same active ingredient, but in the 10 plus years ive been taking it nightly, and trying all the different brands- in my experience the name brand Unisom is superior .

Magnesium Glyconate
Bump. Went to the store yesterday for this and some night time tea and got a great night sleep. Thanks for the recommendation.
