I wouldn't trust it for a long term repair. But I have Map Gas and can solder really well.

Hell I had a plumber do some work on my house. When I got home I didn't like the way his solder was done, so I cut out some of his work and re-did it myself.

I ended up getting a pipe cutter and using a shark bite. Found the pressure regulator and turned it down. Buying a pressure checker this week to see where I am at.

Solder a coupling in if you want to do it yourself. Avg person should just suck it up and pay a Plummer!!!
