I was also going to recommend Marathon at around $300 but it looks like I've missed the boat there and they are now around $500-$600. Glad I got mine early.

Some of these can be found on Amazon for around $200

There are some nice ones on amazon for reasonable prices. Do you know if they are selling knock offs? I'm not sure what the motivation would be to sell a knock off Orient but I was curious.

I swear I get more compliments on my Pez watch than any other watch I've owned.

Come on man. Quality wise, Citizen, Seiko, and Orient (and many others) are way better than Invicta.

Look on Groupon. You can get a '$600' Invicta for $79.

I have a medium automatic inbound

They are pretty expensive now. Wish I could have afforded a GSAR 3 or 4 years ago.

The general purpose is pretty affordable but still out of OP's price range I think. You can get something automatic for what they cost.

My buddy bought an Invicta Sub claiming is was as good as anything out there.

The damn thing showed up with the clasp and bezel lose in the box. He had to assemble it

Jesu Christo, how many watch threads must the OT have?

Don’t listen to these douche bags, I love a good watch thread every couple of days.

From Watchreview 2012
Wear this 95% plus unless have to get real shiny for some occasion. I have had no problems with it and I'm pretty hard on watches. Advertised water resistant down to a little over 300 ft. Never pushed it anywhere near that. It may be unavailable now. Not sure. It was about $110.00 new. Might be available on Ebay. What can I say? We're Scottish therefore thrifty.

$50

$20

$240

They can't take much abuse, but Invictas are good looking watches for under $100.

In that range, any Seiko or Citizen you like is your best bet.

He was asking for a watch around $200 so that's what I put. Is that not what we are doing?

That watch is absolutely hideous

What's hideous about it? It looks nicer than some of the other watches I've seen pictured on this thread.

I also wish we had a true American watch manufacture (including the movement). Its a damn shame with all the precision manufacturing we have here in the states.

For the price, it's not a bad watch. He asked for something in a particular price range. I could put a Tag or something much fancier, but that's not what the OP wanted. Personally I wear a Suunto Core, but that's more than $200. Any more brain busters?
