Just spill the fricking details about what you said while you were drunk. Come on. The OT needs to know.

Evasion can/will kill a security app. Getting drunk at a company event isn't a security issue.
come clean.

I left a 5 month internship off my application and resume for a job I interviewed for. The application did not say to include all jobs or all past work history. Would there be any issues? This job has high security clearance. What should I do? Should I contact HR and include it? The internship did not end well

Like what? Not getting the job? Sure, maybe...

Well I already interviewed. I normally don't include this internship on my resume but this job deals with the federal government

The application for your job, that would be your call. I personally would leave it off.

The SF86 is a whole different thing. Will you need a Secret or Top Secret Clearance?

For a Secret Clearance it will not really matter to much one way or the other. I would put it on there. Especially if it was a paid internship. They really will not care why you left.

For a Top Secret I would advise putting it on there as they are asking about your background over the last 10 years. I would advise very strongly to not omit from the SF86. Now the reason in which you left the internship may come into question depending on who they interview. As I am sure you are aware this is not the kind of thing; such as; an employer verifying employment.

I would not lose sleep over it. The most important thing is not to try to be slick with the investigation... it won't work. Just be honest, they are looking for the honesty more so then having one to many at the company picnic. The fact that you mouthed off to a boss is no where near as bad to the investigator as trying to hide it ... that opens you up to blackmail in their eyes.

Good Luck
