Anyone who says no is a bad parent engaged in child neglect or abuse goes equally do parents who won't put their daughters on birth control.

My son, yes. My daughter, no. She has to wait until she gets married.

I cannot condone such behavior

Condoms for my sons and birth control for my daughters.
I would prefer to just bite the bullet than even try saying "practice abstinence".
Do I want my (non existent) kids having sex? Hell no. But, being a hard head and refusing to supply birth control won't stop them from having sex.

So any parent that doesn't provide contraception is a bad parent?

Be like, "if only someone had cared enough to give me these at your age,..I wouldn't have to deal with you. Would you want to deal with you? All the money I've spent on you..I could still be partying. Please take my advice and take these with you. sure it feels good to leave it in, but the stress of worrying sometimes weeks till she gets her next period really isn't worth it."

torn between thinking "is that giving up, or jut being a realist?"

With the work that I do, HIV testing, STD testing, etc, I would absolutely give condoms to any teen. They are to dumb and I wouldn't want them to ruin the rest of their lives for making a bad decision.

So still pull out even wearing a rubber?
Posted on 4/11/15 at 3:32 pm to Tunasntigers92
I tell them it's bubble gum and hope they figure it out.

I can remember the first college class I took, the professor gave two condoms to every student, I'm no longer at that college.
