It could've been interesting but Cork got real quiet when Nurse got strong on her.
I think she saw my post about her arse and started masturbating furiously which sidetracked her.
BTW, I'm not sure I've ever seen CS post, nor did I know she was a girl until nurse said something about it.

Yeah, I just threw that post in here even though this is not the type of topic that the whole parent/non-parent thing matters.
That is more relevant for topics like childrens medication, behaviorial therapy techniques, and the like.
That's more what I was getting at. A case like this thread is pretty common and easily applies to people with or without kids.

Mine was Elmo themed, according to Mom.
I doubt there were any kids. I'm the firstborn and first maternal grandchild.

I think the rise in the extravagance of birthday parties for 1 yr olds was influenced by Pinterest and social media.

Oh totally.
The party and wedding industry must love the fact that Pinterest is around

Or maybe they had issues with having children and want to celebrate their baby's first birthday in a big way.

Then good for them.
It's still odd to invite people that you don't know well to a child's first birthday.

So a pediatric nurse would only be qualified to discuss this topic if she was a parent herself?
Yours would be the most valid opinion of most non-parents to be sure.

Do you know something personal about this situation, or are you just throwing out hypotheticals? Because the latter cuold get fun.
Also, let's say your situation is true...why would they be inviting people that they aren't even close with (assuming that since they're obviously not close enough to know that she has another kid)..?

You are logical tgr simply because you have sired children....
What would be your suggestion?

I mean.. you said you'd bang her. I'm sure she realizes the severity of that compliment.

I don't think your suggestion was valid.
You don't think it was a valid suggestion to call and ask permission? What did you think the suggestions would be here?
Either do what you're obviously going to do, which is whatever the frick you want, or do the normal thing and take 10 seconds and call and ensure that bringing an older child is not an issue.
Calling makes you considerate...bringing an extra child they did not account for makes you, well...typical.

I'd say a doctor/nurse's opinion on that would be more "valid" than any parent (provided they aren't a doctor or nurse themselves).

Nurse and cork act like teenage girls when in the same thread

I wouldn't go to a 1 year olds birthday party unless it was my kid and then it would still take some convincing fwiw
you had booze at your kid's 1 year old party...now that's a party I can crash.
<----not a parent and not giving advice.

No doubt. I'd have to review her resume before I can decide on a final ranking though.

I said I assume I would. But clearly that was enough to send her nether regions into a tizzy.

My first was born before social media and my second was born after. I lost count of the birthday parties I've had to attend over the last almost 13 years. Birthday parties have not changed.

Drop them both off and tell the host to call when it's time to pick them up.
