2001 Infiniti QX4
drivers headlight comes on for about 15 seconds when car is started then cuts out. I assumed it was the bulb but this guy is saying the ignitor is the problem. WTF

Sounds like a ballast issue. Don't know any details about that model.

Ignitor may refer to some sort of capacitor or fuse.

Flux capacitor. Don't go over 88mph and it should be fine.

couldn't agree more... my parents gave it to my son as a high school car and its been a frickn money pit since day one

You probably need to replace the ballast. Spendy part from the dealer or get a used one on Ebay or Amazon. Youtube how to replace link.
