OT handymen: door with pin caps on top and bottom

I'm refinishing my front door and I just noticed that my door hinge pins have rounded caps on the top and bottom. Does this mean I have to unscrew the door from the hinges to remove it?

Yes. Those are security hinges.

Man, if cellphones only had cameras built-into them....

And the Internet had a site called photobucket to upload and store pictures.

That'd be real handy.

You need a round cap hinge key to remove the cap
