I took PE prep course on weekends which ended a week before test. Took week before test to re-workout all the problems in the prep course and made a "cheat-sheet" with hard-to-remember conversions (like lbs of H2O in a gallon).

First time was about 2.5-3 months. Lots of stuff to learn and familiarize again. Failed but it seemed about the appropriate time for myself.

Second time was < 2 months and passed. I could work many more problems and it was fresh on my mind.

Damn bruh. I used to think the PE would be too tough for me but if that's the kind of shite I need to know I could do it in my sleep

about 2 days before the exam. I looked at a practice exam for about 2 hours. The practice exam was not very indicative of the real exam.

I took the electrical exams, though. They aren't hard at all.

Looking at taking the EE PE. Whats the difficulty jump between the FE and PE in this regard?
