The price is high, but it would have cost you $10 and a YouTube video to do it yourself.

Amen. I am not the best at it either, but I can change a receptacle or a light switch. change toilet guts, valves, etc. I just ordered a new kitchen sink and fixture which I have never installed myself, but that is what youtube is for.

I don't know why your cousin called an electrician for that. Wasted his time. He should have definitely charged him extra.
