I work in industrial construction. An hour ago I was carrying a form wall when my right knee popped. It's been popping a lot in the last month or so. This time, however, it's hurting and won't take any weight put on it. I'm worried sick about what could be wrong with it.

Say baw. Only one doc approved for td. (But you likely can't afford it)

Real advice: get an mri

If it's been popping for a while then I'd guess a Meniscus tear.

I'm not a doctor but I've never heard someone say they 'used to' have knee problems... no matter what, somewhere down the line it'll linger.

Good luck with your recovery

Get an mri. That is the only way to diagnose correctly.

I'm probably stuck here in safety for the rest of the night but as soon as I get off I'll get medical attention.

Could just be some broken cartilage. My brother had a bum knee for years and then he finally went to the Dr. He had a broken piece of cartilage, the size of fingernail clippers, floating around his knee causing his knee to lock up. He got his knee scoped and was back on his feet that evening.

I hope it's something as simple as that.

In with the surgeon now. About to get an MRI but he said it's most likely a torn meniscus.
