OT car mechanics. Car AC question.

Have 07 Pilot...AC runs great when it is driving...but when it is in neutral or sitting, it will not blow cool air. Checked the freon, it is at normal level but I noticed a small amount of water puddling under the car. Is it the compressor going bad?
Looking forward to some legitament input instead of my car has the "AIDS" and I am poor driving a Pilot.

Had the same issue with an 08 CRV. Pretty sure it was a fan clutch issue

One of your cooling fans may be going out, not pushing enough air across while sitting idle, but when moving, the air naturally flows across.
But i am no OT mechanic, just had this happen to an 04 accord

Condensation is normal.
Compressor is fine.
Primary/Secondary fan is not kicking in or Freon is low.
Not enough air is coming across the condenser at idle so AC is not as efficient.

Intereting. The car makes a rattling sound when on. But it is still blowing air in car. Like I said, the air is blowing in neutral but not cold. It is cold when the car is driving.

Could also be a vacuum hose issue

Is the noise coming from the compressor?

Had this happen recently in my F150, was the fan clutch fwiw.

Thanks vette. Can my car mechanic deal with this or do I have to dread and take it to the Honda dealer (markup on cost is just ridiculous).

Any good shop can do this.
Dealer not required.

Not fluent with car issues. Wife mentioned the dealer fixed the compressor (when it was still under warranty). This is my work car and sitting in warm car is starting to suck. Want to make the right move with the mechanic or pucker my arse for the anal job in cost with the dealer.

Alright, going to give Chauncy a buzz and have him fix this. Thanks for the feedback.

My wife's 08 pilot does this too. just started but it's still blowing cool air. But it goes in and out randomly.

OK, that's cool. (haha)
I mean, it actually could be the compressor, if it is making a unusual noise.
Kinda leaning towards it being a fan issue, though.
