How old are you? If that's the only pain you are dealing with then man up. You would probably put a gun to your chin if you had all the pain I deal with daily.

Mobic is a wonderful drug for joint pain. I have some and take it PRN for shoulder and plantar fasciitis pain and it helps a lot.

I have had this pain now for a month (I know, go to the doctor), but I thought it would just go away.
Just had my left knee replaced (TKR) - 40 years of running (I'm 74) like you I started getting pain in the knee and thought it would go away - started swelling when I would try to run - went to OrthoDr - mri done and then scope - bone on bone - knee replaced 9 weeks ago this Tuesday - back up to walking 2 miles a day and going to Lnyx physical therapy twice a week. Thought I would never have to have a TKR. Do not wait too long before seeing a doc.
