Saw this on fb. What a great way to reuse a wedding gown. If I don't shorten mine as orignally planned I'm totally donating it to this organization.

I'm so excited, babe. I'm so glad you let me plan the whole wedding the way I wanted. 3 months, 23 days, 54 minutes and 7 seconds left!!!

And thanks for letting me take your name. I think it's so admirable that you want to keep yours.

Read the article....many times they just wrap the baby in a blanket or wash cloth.

I don't think it's morbid.

What else will you use your old wedding dress for?

I think it's a very nice idea she came up with. I'm sure she makes every dress with care.

You realize I've been married for over a year and a half.

I just saw this on fb. Figured I'd let you guys know about it. I think it's a great idea. Tell your wives about it.

I have worked in the NICU on occasion and I know how tiny those babies are. They don't even make christening gowns that tiny.

It's just one way for the hospital to let the parents know that their baby meant something to not only the parents...but to the nurses and doctors who cared for them as well.

I think the sentiment is nice, but I don't know how I feel about a foreign, used wedding gown being used to swaddle a deceased baby.

I think I'd personally prefer a new blanket that someone made specifically for such babies, or something personal and sentimental from the baby's own family.

Well I think the sentiment is that what article of clothing is more loved and special to a woman than her wedding dress?

And that symbol of love is used to wrap a baby in.

It's not like they force it on the parents either.

I guess I just don't see the charm in this, nurse. I'd think it would be better if someone donated a big, fluffy, comfortable item to wrap the baby in. I don't think a used wedding gown would fit that profile, and seems like most women would rather keep it for nostalgia sake
