They are only $40 month and have a basic format of channels. No contract so you can even pause service for a few months and then pick back up service later. Also, now it’s only $125 for install and 1 tv receiver. I would struggle getting local channels at my house is the only drawback (Lake Claiborne)

Just curios if any of you guys have any experience with them.

Why not stream for the same money, no contract and no installation/hardware?

There’s a pattern with these businesses. $40 becomes $45 in a few months, then $60 a few months later. In a few years you find yourself paying $150 for television and wondering what happened.

My internet is limited. 250 gigs/month. We don’t watch much tv but my kids gaming takes up a lot of that data.

Maybe so. This looks a lot like straight talk model of no contract and stopping and starting service whenever you like with no reconnection fees. Not sure if they are buying service from other satellite tv companies though.

Looked into it. Was able to get Dish for $10 more a month with local channels and then some. Was with DTV for 20+ years and ATT screwed that up big time.

Thanks Fish. I’m gonna redo my TV services but not sure which way yet. Once we moved to the lake, TV just isn’t near the priority it was before.
