Yes, it includes everything. Some minor ductwork but having to tear out a wall for the inside part of the unit.

New Heil units are just rebranded Carrier units. Might not have the same sound dampening that the pricey Carrier unit might have, but if you are buying the standard 14 SEER unit everything else is probably the same

Didnt know they were still around. Back in the 80's they were bullet proof. Had one for my trailer when I first got married. My in laws had it for years and added on. Needed a bigger unit and gave us theirs. We used it for several years. I bet it was 20 years old when we sold trailer and still running.

Seems like all the units are made by like 5 companies.
Trane/American standard
Carrier/Heil/Bryant
Ruud/Rheem
Nordyne/Maytag/Frigidaire
Amana/Goodman
And then all of them share the same 3 compressor and coil manufacturers

The brands I'd go with for 14 SEER equipment....
York or Luxaire, Rheem or Ruud, Goodman
Those have the best condensers in the 14 SEER range. Not all 14 SEER equipment is equal. Not only do you need to look at the SEER rating, you also need to look at the actual AHRI listing. What BTU capacity are you achieving at 14 SEER? Example: in reality, a 3 ton system should rate at 36,000 btu however that is not the case. Some manufactuers may be in the 32-33000 range. What CFM is achieving the 14 SEER? A true 3 ton should be in the range of 1200 cfm. A manufacturer may be achieving the 14 SEER rating at 1050 cfm. So, if the system runs at 1200 in your house you won't get the 14 SEER....probably 13.5 seer. The system loses the efficiency as the cfm increase.
It's same game played by all of the manufacturers. Take a good look at the system you purchase. You want the highest rating (SEER and cfm) at the closest true tonnage. The closer they are, the better built the unit.
