Lived there for a year back in 2010. They've put a lot of work into Old Town. Great place to live. Close to New Orleans but just far enough away. Agree that you need to live around Old Town (south of 90).

No, but I did the "soup tour" last Saturday night.
Saw a two piece band - broad with her man.
He was playing guitar, a harmonica, and singing. She was playing a guitar, singing, bass drum with her left foot, cymbal with her right (all backwards).

No. At one of the shops in Old Town. I attended too many and drank too much beer to tell u.
