There was a guy on Louisiana Law (tv show) that got caught on a WMA with a pistol, the game warden chewed him out good and said she could write a felony ticket but didn't.
I can't remember if she said it was cancealed or open but seems like she saw it pretty easily.
Seems like you could carry in the woods as protection against hogs etc etc

The way the law is written now, I believe you need to have a CHP to carry on a WMA.

The only time I open carry is if I forget it on my belt when hunting and happen to go in a store or something. Other than that it's just in my truck. If we had constitutional carry I would keep it on me more.
