One time this chick said to my wife that she and her husband "enjoyed" me.

csb, right? Anyway, this happened after we had spent some time together over a wedding weekend somewhere. Not talking about any kinky shite or swinging, so gtfo.
If you like spending time with somebody, you say you "like" them. Or you say you thought they were "cool" or something normal. I thought it was weird and found it condescending. You enjoy a food you eat or a tv show you watch. You don't "enjoy" a person. Who's with me?

They enjoyed your company. I dont think it's weird to say they enjoyed you, even sans the company part.

Not all that odd. A better statement would have been that he "enjoyed your company", but it's not all that weird anyway.

I've had friends relay to me that another person or couple said they enjoyed hanging out with us. I don't think it's weird. I usually just say I liked hanging out with them. Same difference...
