Man that sucks. I lost a loved one to a plane crash this year. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Do you spend your Sundays finding news articles from obscure small Louisiana towns?

I suppose perhaps it beats spending yours harping on those who do.

Most likely toward the spillway since the airstrip is in that area.

That's what I was afraid of. My family has a camp off of Bear Creek. The lake is also drawn down right now.

I don't know anything about lake D'Arbonne.

Is it a dry lake? Looks wet on the map.

It is a wet lake, but was drawn down earlier this year to allow homeowners to perform maintenance on their bulkheads, docks, etc. This practice occurs once every 3-5 years, depending on how the Police Jury is swayed at that particular time.

D'Arbonne is a big lake that is home to many a white perch, largemouth bass, catfish, and bream.

Good structure which will hold some fish. Anyone have the gps coordinate to the crash site?
