Of course I would. 1 year is nothing, it'll fly by.

frick yes. In a heartbeat. 1 million US=10 million Philippines.

Have you checked up on the Philippines lately?

I think a lot of people really take for granted the little things we have available in the states that even the greatest international places don't have.

You may not necessarily have places like walgreens, or grocery stores, or proper sanitation standards when it comes to food and water.

Just by reading the responses in this thread you can tell that. Half have probably never left the country and they think anywhere else is better, which is just completely false.

"Our country is falling apart, blah blah blah. I'd be gone in a heartbeat." A bunch of people who truly don't understand just how good we have it here in the states.

Well considering I’ve spent a significant amount of time in Iraq, Japan, Korea, and been to Mexico several times; I think it’s safe to say I’m pretty aware of that.

Sure, a lot of places don’t have what the US has but it’s not all bad. I could have lived the rest of my life in Okinawa, Japan. A little different than the Philippines but with that money exchange, you put yourself among the elite. With a million dollars in the Philippines, I don’t need to give a single frick about Walgreens

No. I would pay a million to deport 10 people of my choosing.

Better? Not necessarily. But not everywhere else is a shithole either. I mean 95% of the people on Earth don't live in the US.

Acting like you can't live comfortably in other countries is extremely short-sighted.

Even with your life experience I think you severely underestimate the convenience and expertise of healthcare in the states. Small issues can become much worse very quickly if it's not taken care of.
