As a young man in his early 20's it pains me to think of this badass generation. They unflinchingly went to war for our great nation, in the biggest war our country has ever seen.
Meanwhile, my generation needs safe spaces and Pokemon Go.
What the frick happened to us? I despise my generation.

God bless the Greatest Generation

If only you could show them that you had it in you to honor the legacy that they left instead of frickin Pokemon Go, Dating Naked, and transgender bathroom issues.

Is that too much to ask?

bout 10 years ago a friend's grandpa had his driver's license taken away, he went into the office and basically told them, I fought at Tarawa and you aren't taking my license.

they gave him his license back

Did he die soon afterwards in a car crash?

Oh I get your frustration wtith today's youth. Last weekend myself and my gf were in st.Augustine, FL enjoying the oldest city in America when we looked around all we saw was all the young people buried in their phones playing Pokemon go.

That pic makes me miss my Paw Paw. WWII vet, Army Air Corp, stationed all over the Pacific. Passed 3 years ago. RIP

I hear you. My only living great uncle from all of my grandparents or great uncles is 94. He went from Africa to France and Germany. He still has a sharp mind but his body and health are failing.

He told me some stories from the Pacific islands that blew my mind.
