Something sort of similar happened with a guy I knew. He was married and having an affair. He got into an argument with the girl and beat her up. He thought he had killed her so he went to dump the body, at which point she woke up and jumped out of the vehicle. He went home and shot himself in his bathroom.
Well educated guy from a great family but he was deep into the cocaine and may have been undiagnosed bipolar.

Looked at Dad’s Facebook. Daniel Theesfeld. Owns a pain mgmt, clinic in Ft Worth. Some of his patients have posted that he has his own issues.
