Vigilante justice would be warranted.
I've always said this world needs Dexter.

Crossing a state line during commission of a crime like this may amp up the charges? Sabi?

Interesting angle.
But did he technically commit a crime in Tennessee?

Fleeing the scene?

I don't see any way around the camera shot of the two of them from the gas station near Como.
Did this image ever get posted? All I ever saw was the picture of him walking into the gas station in Memphis.

It did not that I know of, so that might not really even be for certain. Good point

Well this was a couple days after...
I just doubt the state of Tennessee would bring up charges on it. Maybe they would just to bring the FBI/more charges into it?
I'm not sure how any of this works.

Never underestimate the value of a connected lawyer. Benefit of the doubt on close calls, breaks, delays, continuances. Huge benefit.

Me either but I would think crossing the state line, if it had anything to do with the crime would involve federal charges. Posting from iPad waiting to renew dL, or I’d look it up.

Probably only if he had taken her into TN while still alive and then took her back, doubt that happened. Fleeing into another state would bring the US Marshals into the fray

Yeah, I guess that is all true. Plus, he'll have sources inside the prosecutor/DAs office and police department I'm sure. He's very much a fixer in Oxford.

Is the lack of press conference somewhat concerning?
I actually am kind of happy for the lack of press. As I said earlier, my concern now is that all LE departments involved followed the book on this one to the 100th degree. The fact that nothing is really getting out for some reason kind of reassures that they are trying to do that.

Might be why they are keeping things so tight on what they release. Trying to keep as much away from public knowledge to give the defense less of a reason to make claims.

I know lots of kids with these that their parents a leveraged to the hilt to keep up with the Jone’s. The car you drive doesn’t mean anything. I drive a 2012 SUV and make significantly more than the number you threw out. My boys all got +10 year old vehicles that I paid cash for so I didn’t have to carry comprehensive....and I made them get part time jobs for spending money. So parenting is important
