Three years ago today, the only thing I cared about in the world was liquor. I had absolutely nothing. No relationships with my family. No direction. I was completely miserable and drank all day everyday just to fight off DTs and seizures. I don't remember a lot about those years, but I still remember reading this. I got myself cleaned up a few months later and my life today is bigger than I could have ever hoped.

Anyway. I hope anyone struggling with anything right now knows that dark times do pass. Sometimes it takes a little longer than we think it should or looks a lot messier than we want it to. But it does get better
