Nah. It wasn't bad. Our room was fine. Trust me, we can afford whatever. My wife didn't want a resort or anything. She's just like that.

Go,to Ponce, stay at the Hilton golf resort and casino. Tout the Ceralles factory.

We went last year at this time and spent 5 nights in Rincon had a really nice 2br condo right on the beach. Was about 300 yds down from the Tamboo. Really nice area. Stayed in Luquillo for the other half. Wasn't impressed. Will stay on vieques and another part next time we go. Had a rental car from a local company down there for pretty cheap. Drove all over. Did the OSJ day trip with the forts. Rain forest was pretty cool. Missed the pork hwy, which I really wanted to do. The nicest hotel I saw in OSJ was the Hotel El Convento. Its right in the middle of it all.
