Not angry. Just get sick of people sneering at others that have a job and sacrifice for their families. It is like hard work and trying to succeed are scoffed at by people today. I have no problems with any man trying to provide for his family in any field or career.
I seriously doubt that the wisecrackers in this thread would say anything to a roughnecks face. But put them behind a keyboard and they become a super badass.
The oilfield is a tough place. A person can’t hide their weaknesses or laziness for long before they are found out and run off. It is a truly unique job environment in a world of quotas and PC hiring practices.
