Official Nightly Baton Rouge Shooting Tracker Thread - May 23 Edition - One Shot Already

BATON ROUGE - Police are responding to a reported shooting on Edgewood Drive.
The shooting was first reported after 7:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of Edgewood Drive near N. 27th Street.
Details surrounding the incident were not immediately made available, though a Baton Rouge Police spokesperson confirmed they were investigating.
Sources told WBRZ one person was transported from the scene, potentially in critical condition.
WBRZ News 2 has a crew en route to the scene.

Someone must have kept them from getting to work on time. I understand the origin of this violence while I don’t agree with it.

Usually I assume that if I've never heard of the street it's in the hood. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's about 5 blocks from N22nd street which runs into Plank eventually.
