2 unrelated shootings on the same street right around the same time. They were probably still investigating the first one. That's one of the worst areas in the city though. You wouldn't catch my white arse back there in the daytime.

Funny how so many crap on Austin on this board as a liberal shithole and yet they have a city population of 1,000,000 and metro of 2,200,000 and I think there have been less than 35 homicides for 2019.

My sister lives in Austin. They certainly don't have the violent crime problem that we do. Austin also has a very different demographic makeup. It's sad that's what it boils down to but it is the truth.
Boise is a similar sized city to BR and they usually have under 10 murders per year, sometimes as low as 2.
