Yeah, there are some really easy to follow guides on how to do it on YouTube. You have to sideload Kodi, which is extremely easy. Then you have to load a wizard and a config file from TV Addons that will get it all configured with the best and latest addons for movies, TV, music, etc.

If I can do it, a dead dodo bird can do it.

Yeah my extra fire TV stick I have to o my mother and I had to sifeload it after amazon took firestarter off so it got a little tricky but still easy as hell.

yes. It's freaking amazing. I can't imagine a more seamless experience or faster speeds. I'm running 50 megs on Cox and never buffer. Plus it's the only box capable of 4k

Roku 4, baw. I got a good one with a quiet fan. And I got it free with my reward points. I'm all in with Roku. I'm only getting the Fire Stick for Kodi.

It's totally a luxury item, not something that's going to change your life, but I love it.

It's in my living room (of a small apartment) so when I walk in I just tell her to turn on music. I find that I rarely watch a ton of tv these days as I prefer to have music on. I also like listening to podcasts on it. She's spot on for weather stuff as well. In the morning I'll ask for the flash news briefing which is pretty cool although I wish it was a tad longer.

I also use it constantly when cooking. I'll use it to set timers or ask for conversions between cups and quarts or whatever. The grocery list feature is pretty good.

There are other things like syncing it to lights if you have a smart house or Nest for your thermostat that would be super cool, but I don't have those things. I've used the Uber skill a couple times and it's pretty decent.

For $120 or whatever it was when I bought it, I've bought much worse.

Looks like the deal is dead. But you can purchase the same Amazon Basics HDTV antenna from the bundle for $18.

Funny thing--I added the Fire TV to my cart and went to delete the Fire Stick currently in my cart...except I deleted the Fire TV instead--now it won't let me re-add it. Keeps saying it's in my cart but it's not, so I let the clock run out, now it won't even give me the option to add it back at the lightning price.

TL;DR don't delete a lightning deal from the cart and expect to be able to re-add it

well it was the only one when i purchased it. Glad to see other boxes catching up to the powerhouse.
