While most conspiracy theories piss me off, JFK is the one conspiracy theory I find actually interesting and viable in some way. There's more to this story than most of the world knows. I'm convinced on the Mob angle myself since it seems very simple and straight forward on their motives and means to pull it off.

Most conspiracy theories are manufactured by those trying to hide the truth.

Yeah, fortunately no other group or individuals seek money and power....ever....in the history of man.

Great article and I agree. Have been 26 times to the museum and site. The first dozen or so growing up and visiting my fam in Dallas and their fascination spurred my interest. The only real conclusion is that is was a lone nut. Take any competent marksman from that window to the X now marked on the pavement to show the fatal shot... It's not as far as the want for a conspiracy leads the people to believe. It's VERY close.
Based on his psych prof and his need for self justification, it makes perfect sense.
But as an earlier poster said, many WANT there to be a conspiracy bc of the magnitude of the event. Same w Lincoln assassination 97 1/2 years earlier... And the titanic.. And 9/11
People want a deeper justification for life altering tragedies.
But sometimes it is what it is.

As a side note, my last time to the museum was 2 summers ago. I laughed at the level of 'do not take pictures on your phone until you get to the floor above this one photo spot or your phone and/or camera will be confiscated' charade they go all in for with their 'hall monitors' walking around. It's a theme park level troll to perpetrate their 'we won't commit to the facts so you make up your OWN mind what happened' mindset they are going for.. I don't blame them of course bc the gift shop is fantastic and you gotta sell stuff

Still took dozens of pics on my phone. Wompwomp

Take a look at frame 337 of the Zapruder film and tell me there is not a deficit in the back of JFK's head.

(which of course would indicate a shot from the front)

Nope. People just want the truth. And if you believe that government and media is going to give it to you, you're a fool.

Even the government couldn't cover up the JFK assassination for long. As I already linked at the bottom of Page 2 of this thread, the government's own committee on assassinations concluded that it was probably a conspiracy.

Dad was an electronics technician at Lakefront Airport. Spoke with David Ferrie many times over coffee there.

Ferrie was a former pilot for Eastern airlines. His business at the airport was giving flying lessons and belonging to the Civil Air Patrol, many of whom were aviation guys.

Pops described Ferrie as keenly intelligent but screwy. Wore a crappy toupee and glued on eyebrows. Could carry on an informed conversation about damn near anything.

Anyway, shift change came the day Kennedy was killed and when my dad got to work, men were there presenting FBI credentials looking for David Ferrie. They left once they were satisfied that he wasn't there.

This was BEFORE Lee Oswald had been taken into custody in Dallas.

Helluva a coincidence that the FBI shows up looking for one of the principal actors in most conspiracy theories on the day Kennedy was killed and before a suspect is in custody.

I suppose these weren't FBI and presented fake credentials to catch up with Ferrie and put him on ice.

I don't buy into conspiracy theories and haven't bought much into this one. However if lee were jist a nut job wanting to kill jfk, he would have likely just ran up to him and shot him. I think he was the lone shooter, but people on the inside orchestrated it.
