A chicken is not a pet.

My wife has a pot belly, there are miniature pigs which are 20-30 lbs and regular pot bellies. We have a reg, which is ~120 lbs. Much less work than a dog. Intelligence of a 3 year old child, and potty trained. She lives in the house and goes out to eat and go to the bathroom. They live 20-25 years. She is better than our dogs or our kids...

You can house train/litter box train a pig. A negative is they like to push things and they can push large things. They can topple a tall bookshelf so you have to be careful. Also, they will test eat damn near anything so you have to child/puppy proof constantly... there is no training or growing out of it.

Also the pig is more like a cat than a dog, it might come around to get its belly scratched and will defiantly come around for food, but isnt coming around to be your friend like a dog.

Chickens are considered livestock in EBR. I already have some.

I'll take that pig though.

That pig was like, "GTFO, Les!"

(To be clear, I mean the one with the white spot on its forehead.)

My current SO wants a pot belly pig, and I am trying my damndest to avoid it. I know people say they make great pets and are smart, but the damn thing looks like an oversized rat. Idk why the fvck people think they're cute. Not to mention I doubt it can fetch or run with me plus I think my dad would laugh at my face if I told him I was getting a "pot belly pig".

Beta for sure.

Dogs are the only true pets. Everything else is just an animal that lives on your property.
