Harder to get into the tents during the weekend. There will be place outside on the tables there. During the week the tents are much easier to get into and sit down at a table. Pace yourself, first time I went 4 liters did me in, last time I was able to put down 10 in 14 hours. It's a great time and I'm pretty jealous!!!

Spent a weekend there in 1994.

I remember being impressed that we didn't see any fights in the 3 days we were there, considering the massive amount of people and the amount of drinking.

There is a strong sense of social order in that there are an infinite number of ways people can have a rowdy good time, but nobody lets it get out of hand.

Never saw any riff raff types.

The riff raff are there now. Everyone was generally friendly the first 4 times I went, the last time I was there, there were a few guys from Turkey next to us and they started a fight.

We ended up drinking with a couple of guys from Ireland... two of the funniest mfers I've ever met. The only time it got close to fighting was when one of the Irishmen was trying to take a pic of some girl's tits over his shoulder. He thought he was being sneaky but he was so drunk he didn't realize that the flash kept going off. The girl's bf wasn't happy but the rest of us were laughing our asses off.
