Looking at Oboz Burke Chukka and Merrel Moab 3 Mid.

These are my top 2 choices but if there are any recs that work great for office / job id love to see them.

Steel toe not needed. Just comfort without looking like a clown shoe.

You’re gonna need hiking boots to get from your cubicle to the coffee station?

Do you do a lot of hiking in the office?

Why don't you try some classic chukka boots?

I’m usually walking hotels / apartments in various stages of construction.

You should lead with that

I’m a big fan of Thorogood boots, but I’m getting safety toes. They have them without though

I’m actually looking into getting some Oboz. I would go with oboz over merrel but that’s just me; not saying merrels are bad.

Oboz are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn.

The Oboz Burke Chukka looks like a solid shoe. It’s looks like a good mix of dressed up, comfort and functionality.

Ive never had a problem with any Merrel and they were always comfortable lasting a long time. Had one pair of Oboz and they fell apart not long after getting them. Will never get them again. Keen also makes a good shoe.

I recently pulled the trigger on some Danner boots. I have Merrell hiking boots and Columbia boots as well. The Danners have been very comfortable, and supposedly you can send them off to Danner to get them re-soled when they've worn out.

Below is Danner's website, but I got them at a brick and mortar for 30% off.

I wear hiking shoes or boots every day. I got a pair of oboz and they are the most uncomfortable pieces of shite I’ve ever put on my feet

If you wear a 10.5 you can have them

Merrel or keen shoes are foolproof, comfortable, waterproof and look great. For boots, Salomon

Long time Merrill wearer here the Moab 3 mid waterproof is light years ahead of the Moab 2’s. They are the most comfortable and durable hiking/work shoes imo.

I thought the same, until I bought some Danners.
