I just have to say... As a straight black man, it offends me that the democrat party has lumped myself and our african american hardships of obtaining civil rights with a bunch of queers and illegal immigrants.

This is just a continuation of the LGBT agenda being shoved in the face of everyone. I don't think my view on the matter or anyone else's opinion is going to stop the liberal media, Hollywood or the current administration from using every chance they get to make the subject of being transgender seem perfectly normal. You will most likely see a transgender character pop up in several television shows this Fall since Hollywood wants to stoke the fire while it is hot.
As a father of a teenage child, I would prefer that she not have to see this stuff everywhere you look (tabloids by every checkout in every store, plastered all over Yahoo, or even the damn ESPY award show). She would have learned about it eventually, but to Hell with everyone that forced me to explain the issue to a 13 year old because it is everywhere you turn around.
I don't hate the individuals who make their own life choices as they should live life how it makes them happy. However, I do hate that the LGBT liberal machine thinks they know what is better for everyone else to believe and that a kid can no longer have the innocence of youth unless you live off the grid somewhere away from all this crap.
