It's also open season on general contractors in the south. They better be on high alert.

According to your link

Automobile accident: 25
Drowned: 1
Fire: 1
Gunfire (Accidental): 2
Heart attack: 15
Motorcycle accident: 3
Struck by vehicle: 3
Vehicle pursuit: 5

Nice of you to act as though all those deaths were from the evil populace.

Again, a handful of deaths out of nearly 800,000 cops, from the guys who shoot a dog every hour and a half. #heroes

I'm more mad at teachers fricking our youth than I am mad at cops.

There's a relatively high rate in Alaska; double that of the lower 48. Kids have to get tested at certain intervals to attend local schools.

You act like we choose these encounters. Darren Wilson did not choose to be assaulted by Brown. He chose to defend himself and win this battle. I, along with thousands of officers just like me, have never started a violent encounter. I have defended myself several times though.

I'm glad you gave up on that failing math angle and jumped on this strawman wagon. I support Wilson's actions. He was a TPOS who arrested people for filming him, but killing Michael Brown was justified. I'm glad Brown's dead.

Anybody who would start bashing Cops in this thread has some serious issues in my opinion. I suggest that you take a long look at yourself and your values.

Cops go to work every day with the thought that they might get murdered while doing their job. They do this for 20-30 years. Aside from Military personnel who are deployed, can you name another occupation that has to deal with this?

Additionally, your statistics cited are leaving out the high number of police officers who are injured during encounters with criminals.

Police work is very dangerous and stressful occupation.

You have no credibility and you know it. A dog shot every hour and a half??? Do you just pull this crap out of your arse?

I've posted the facts. Refute the numbers. I dare you.

Says the guy getting paid to imprison people for nonviolent crimes and trample on privacy and property rights.

Which, as shown above, is a ridiculous fear when you look at the numbers.

Yep, rallying around guys provoking and assaulting police rather than innocent civilians cooperating and getting victimized the police is what negates and infects their message.

With these two examples the only clear message being sent is their move to want tp provoke police without lawful retaliation.
