Valerie Cincinelli, 35, wore black jail scrubs to a hearing on Tuesday in federal court in Central Islip, and looked sullen as Judge Sandra Feuerstein set the April 20, 2020, trial date — giving no acknowledgment to her relatives sitting quietly in the back of the courtroom.

Cincinelli was arrested in May for allegedly giving her boyfriend John DiRubba $7,000 to arrange hits on her estranged husband, Isaiah Carvalho, and DiRubba’s own 15-year-old daughter.

Cincinelli’s lawyer, James Kousouros, told reporters after the hearing: “We have a trial date, and we look forward to the facts emerging.”

The hearing was held just a few days after Feuerstein denied Cincinelli’s application for bail, saying she “poses a danger to the safety” of the victims in her case and that she shows a “lack of impulse control and remorse” — and thus should stay behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn until she stands trial
