They did it wasn't an amazing show but it was entertaining enough. The event its self has gotten a bit bigger since it first started but still way much more enjoyable than downtown and more worth your money.

The only time I ever spent in the Quarter in New Orleans was New Year's Eve 1993, the night before the Florida Gators played the West Va Mountaineers.
The Quarter was so packed you could barely move through the crowd, but a group of us went and did our best. I remember looking up at one of the hotel balconies, and there were two chicks from West Va just standing there with their WVU sweatshirts on and their pants pulled down.
This was before the shaving craze................
