It explains everything. In 1964 the US government tested a nuke underground in Mississippi. This happened one year after OM won a national championship. Ever since the trophy is too radioactive to make its way into the state. It's the government's fault and I demand to be compensated for my misery.

I've been there. There's just a concrete monument saying not to dig without permission in an area defined on the monument and a brief description of what they did there.
